About the Role

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pre Post Op team on a per diem basis. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse on our Pre Post Op team, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing patient care to geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients. You will work under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director and assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree and a minimum of 1 year of pre op or PACU experience. You must also have strong IV skills and be able to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 1 year of employment start date and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Our Outpatient Services include a Surgery Center, Advanced Wound Care Center, Pain Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Imaging, and Rehab.
