Job Title: Perioperative Assistant Nurse Manager

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing administrative direction and oversight for the clinical practice of nursing in the perioperative area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nurse Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote excellent patient care.

Requirements:

  • MSN or BSN with completion of MSN program within three years.
  • 5 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Specialty certification in perioperative nursing (CAPA/CPAN/CCRN) and/or nursing leadership certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • PALS and TNCC certification preferred.
