Maintenance Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and completing assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, including three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, and AC/DC drives.
  • Perform equipment installation, PMs, and complete assigned projects.
  • Maintain and support all equipment in the production environment.
  • Complete all tasks, work orders, and PMs as directed by the supervisor in a safe and timely manner.
  • Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
  • Perform repairs, rebuild, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
  • Daily record all line calls, work orders, PMs, and work history electronically.
  • Complete all required and applicable training.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed and any shift on short notice.
  • Authority and responsibility to stop the production line in case of a safety or quality issue.
  • Maintain a license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift, and Articulating Lift.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Industrial automotive experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
