Medical Reviewer for Group Health Records and Panel Hearings
4 days ago
Dane Street is seeking skilled medical professionals to conduct in-depth reviews of group health records. These reviews involve analyzing clinical summaries, contacting treating providers, and responding to questions posed by clients.
As a medical reviewer with Dane Street, you will be working remotely on a freelance basis. This means that you can choose when and how many cases you take on, allowing for maximum flexibility in your schedule.
The ideal candidate will have experience in oral maxillofacial surgery and be able to dedicate approximately 15-30 minutes per case to ensure thoroughness. In some instances, cases may require same-day review, so being able to work efficiently is crucial.
In addition to reviewing group health records, Dane Street also seeks medical professionals who are interested in participating in panel hearings. During these hearings, you will use your expertise to assist in resolving disputes related to healthcare services.
Panel hearings typically last around 1 hour, but most last no more than 30 minutes. You will receive higher compensation for participating in panel hearings, and you will be required to submit a written report following the hearing.
To be successful in this role, you must be an expert in the treatment of medical conditions and be knowledgeable about recommended healthcare services through recent or current actual clinical experience. A strong understanding of the client's rules and regulations regarding call cadence is also essential.
We strive to maintain a secure and professional environment for all parties involved. Please note that we will never conduct interviews via text or request checks from candidates for purchasing equipment.
The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and the number of cases taken on. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented medical professional looking for a flexible opportunity, please consider applying for this position.
