Our ApproachWe take a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to therapy, combining the expertise of Occupational, Speech, Physical, and Behavioral Therapists to provide a holistic and effective treatment plan. Our therapists work closely with families to develop and implement personalized plans that promote growth, development, and independence.
Responsibilities- Perform skilled therapeutic services within the Occupational Therapist's scope of practice
- Screening & Evaluation for Occupational Therapy
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to ADLs/IADLs and performance deficits such as motor, sensory, cognitive, social, attention and more
- Establish and update plans of care for Occupational Therapy
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed
- Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through occupational therapy treatment with home education programs
- Excellent time management skills
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program according to AOTA
- Registration obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist as required in the state of Florida
