As a Lead Product Strategist on the Connect team, your primary responsibility will be to develop, oversee, and implement the customer experience roadmap. You will spearhead initiatives to create engaging products that minimize friction and stimulate innovation within our customer interactions. This role positions you as a specialist in the Digital Delivery - Connect domain, where you will take ownership of the product vision and roadmap, continuously refining and enhancing product strategies in alignment with evolving industry standards and customer preferences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize behavioral analytics, customer insights, and business feedback to formulate, prioritize, and communicate strategies and roadmaps for both customer-facing and internal platforms.
  • Guide product choices as a recognized authority in customer experience, leveraging knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Establish and nurture cross-departmental relationships across the organization, including Digital Delivery, Customer Care, Store Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, Design, and Development, to comprehend needs and garner support for initiatives.
  • Maintain a well-rounded product strategy that balances the development of new projects with the enhancement of existing ones.
  • Identify the best methods for managing project dependencies and obstacles, collaborating with other departments to mitigate risks.
  • Define and articulate project scope, establish clear objectives and success metrics, and communicate outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of metrics related to assigned verticals, including regular audits to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Perform competitive analysis within and outside the industry, introducing best practices and driving necessary process improvements.
  • Champion and sustain relationships with vendor partners, ensuring seamless integration and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify and manage budget requirements and return on investment for projects and vendor partnerships.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities and projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in business or a technology-related field from an accredited institution, or a comparable combination of education and experience, along with substantial experience in overseeing the development, implementation, and performance of digital products.

Proven success in a startup or change-management context. Experience in project or product management, including proficiency in product management tools such as Jira or similar applications. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is essential.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in G Suite or Microsoft equivalents. Strong understanding of Cloud-based (and SaaS) applications. Business-level knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and XML, as well as SOAP/REST/WEB services. Previous experience in QA & UAT of digital applications is advantageous.
