About the RoleThe Strategy Manager will work closely with line of business executives to provide strategic advice on initiatives, goals, and key business decisions that support the overall strategy for Core Banking.
This includes strategy formulation, activation, and communication to advance the success of Core Banking. The successful candidate will lead strategic project problem-solving efforts, helping executives and teams to structure and define key issues, develop hypotheses, and design required analyses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and refining business goals to measure success of strategic initiatives
- Identifying and analyzing business gaps and opportunities, synthesizing insights, and developing initiatives
- Leading competitive and industry research and providing data support and analysis
- Managing complex research, performing business case analysis, refining management presentation, and supporting stakeholders as required
- Engaging with business partners to ensure critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to execution
- Developing and creating structured presentations illustrating key business issues, new insights, and recommendations, and communicating to key sponsors and cross-functional teams
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate strategy, finance, and/or other relevant banking experience, with proven experience leading strategy and/or programs in a complex business/banking environment.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience leading strategy and/or programs in a complex business/banking environment
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and change management with strong financial acumen and analytical/quantitative skills
- Extensive analytical and decision-making skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas and solutions in an organized and compelling manner
- Ability to anticipate potential areas of concern, identify and resolve challenging situations among individuals and/or groups
- Experience negotiating difficult subjects between multiple executive stakeholders with different agendas
We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $85,115 - $121,593, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
