A strong understanding of aluminum and steel materials, along with proficiency in operating various general tool room equipment including CNC mills, is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction of multiple products simultaneously, ensuring adherence to design blueprints and specifications.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings to develop precise die/mold making plans.
  • Execute operations with exceptional accuracy within very tight tolerances.
  • Conduct thorough self-inspections to guarantee the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineering and Programming teams throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating a range of machinery, including Bridge Ports, Grinders, Saws, and EDM equipment.
  • Adhere to all Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR rules and standards.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating willingness to learn and contribute in various areas as assigned by management.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, prioritizing workplace safety at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to established housekeeping procedures.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Possess at least eight (8) years of documented experience as a Tool & Die Maker / Moldmaker.
  • Have successfully completed a Bonafide apprenticeship program and possess a certificate verifying completion.
  • Hold a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker or Journeyman Mold Maker certification.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
