Job Summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and measurements to determine the extent and method of repair to dies.
  • Perform repair operations to dies, including setting up and operating standard milling machine, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other machine tools.
  • Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
  • Ability to read schematics (blueprints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus.
