Position Overview

The Regional Construction Management Advisor plays a pivotal role in assisting franchises to enhance and expand their construction services. This involves assessing current operational processes, offering tailored solutions for performance enhancement, facilitating the implementation of the SERVPRO Operating System in construction, and providing expert guidance to address franchise challenges. The aim is to foster a cohesive and efficient network of construction service providers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to meet construction growth objectives in your designated area.
  • Assess the existing construction processes and performance metrics of franchises. Utilize Business Intelligence tools where applicable. Engage in discussions, investigations, and analyses to identify issues and areas for improvement through site visits, webinars, and calls.
  • Offer strategic guidance to resolve franchise challenges, enhance performance, and accelerate growth.
  • Assist franchises in adopting the SERVPRO construction Operating System, focusing on business development, staff training, process optimization, and adherence to SERVPRO Performance Standards.
  • Establish trust and credibility within the franchise network, fostering effective and collaborative relationships.
  • Document and communicate potential areas for improvement in the Operating System based on implementation challenges or identification of best practices.
  • Conduct evaluations of franchises to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

Your Qualifications

  • Experience in residential or light commercial construction, particularly in business management and project oversight.
  • Preferred background as a general manager or owner of a construction firm or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in business management, influencing others, multitasking, prioritization, communication (both verbal and written), organization, time management, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Leadership qualities, integrity, tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to company values are essential. Experience in business consulting or training is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction processes, with intermediate understanding of business practices and performance improvement principles. Familiarity with goal setting and achievement, as well as business intelligence tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of franchise systems is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in a construction management role.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Standard working hours based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Additional hours may be required to meet customer needs.
  • Travel requirements of 25-50% based on business needs.
