We seek a self-driven individual who is enthusiastic about diagnosing and resolving mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance issues, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in a comparable work setting is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately diagnose issues through experience, analysis, and testing, following discussions with clients and thorough examinations of the RVs to identify the nature of the problems.
• Provide clients with job cost estimates and recommendations for parts replacement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, and electronic issues, performing necessary adjustments, repairs, or overhauls.
• Conduct repairs on water and sewage plumbing, propane gas lines, and electrical systems as required.
• Remove damaged exterior panels and repair or replace structural components as needed.
• Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and educational courses.
• Assist in the training and education of new staff members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must either hold RVTI certification or be willing to pursue it.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in RV repair is required.
• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Proficient in all aspects of maintenance and repairs.
• Must possess personal tools appropriate for the skill level.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset are required.

• Submit parts requests promptly once requirements for a job are identified.
• Keep the service writer or manager informed of any additional work needed or delays in estimated completion times to provide customers with up-to-date information.
• Assist the service writer as needed with writing work orders, conducting test rides, interacting with customers, or any other tasks that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to the overall tidiness of the shop.• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed after each job.
• Keep technical qualifications current by completing required training programs.
• Ensure that the vehicle is cleaner upon completion of the job than when it was received.
• Complete each job thoroughly to minimize the need for return repairs. If a vehicle needs to return for additional work, address it promptly, accurately, and with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
• Spend time in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned indoor environments.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• The job requires various movements, including sitting, standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs is necessary.
