Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) practice as an Assistant Vice President. The ideal candidate will have a combination of REIT and SEC experience, with a strong background in financial statement preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, managing client expectations and meeting all client deliverables.
  • Manage and review the daily accounting and financial reporting for REITs.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files, including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals.
  • Assist in the preparation of required monthly share class pricing.
  • Help manage the year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of mortgage REIT experience.
  • Financial statement preparation experience, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Experience with NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations.
