Job Title: Assistant Residential Manager 2

Bridgewell is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager 2 to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of individuals with disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Residential Manager 2 will assist with the daily operation of a residential home, providing direct care support and coordination of program duties as needed. This role requires a strong ability to lead staff, develop positive relationships, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead staff to ensure performance standards are upheld and individuals are working in accordance with agency requirements, mission, goals, and principles.
  2. Provide leadership to all staff, creating a positive work climate and cohesive team environment.
  3. Ensure services and documentation are maintained according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and Bridgewell's policies and procedures.
  4. Create opportunities for individuals to develop skills and foster independence.
  5. Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs of individuals, identifying needs and securing services as needed.
  6. Transport individuals to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  7. Build and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, community groups, families, and other service providers.
  8. Monitor petty cash and maintain spending within budgetary limits.
  9. Provide interim coverage during PD absence as directed by and with the support of the Residential Supervisor or other interim program management.
  10. Maintain core training certifications, including CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, and Driver Safety.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. DSP Certification, Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  3. Minimum one year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities, as well as experience with individuals who may present with behavioral or medical concerns.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead staff, coordinate documentation flow, and interface with management or nursing staff.
