Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in PreK through 12th grade, following established lesson plans and curricula.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection protocols.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, staff, parents, and students to promote academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Iowa State Licensure, including Substitute Authorization Certificate, is required for this position.
  • Prior classroom teaching experience in PreK through 12th grade is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in assignment and scheduling.
