Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Process Specialist is accountable for the setup, initiation, troubleshooting, and production of our photovoltaic products within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work during night shifts from 6pm to 6am.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the photovoltaic module production recipes.
- Oversee the adherence to established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct analysis and diagnosis of process abnormalities to enhance product quality.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of operational documentation.
- Provide training and support to junior production staff.
- Assist in the qualification of material suppliers, including inspection and testing as necessary.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all business operations, ensuring compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance activities.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A technical diploma or higher in electrical or mechanical fields, coupled with relevant experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a technician in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferably within the photovoltaic sector.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical components are advantageous.
- Ability to independently resolve complex equipment malfunctions with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis applications.
- Capability to mentor junior personnel and share knowledge through informal presentations and hands-on training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Mandarin preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working with limited oversight.
