Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team at the Archdiocese of Washington. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of our operations.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in finance, Microsoft Office programs, and multi-line phone systems. You should have excellent human relations and communication skills, as well as experience working in a Catholic Church/Parish environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the parish, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the administration of Microsoft Office programs and multi-line phone systems.
- Develop and implement effective staff training programs.
- Manage volunteer resources and ensure smooth operation of ParishSoft and website management software.
- Collaborate with the pastor and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Accounting, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Catholic Church/Parish environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
