Nurse Care Coordinator

As a Nurse Care Coordinator at AristaCare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct nursing care and supervise the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing Services and Nurse Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the identity of residents before administering medication or treatment.
  • Participate in employee performance evaluations and determine staffing requirements.
  • Greet newly admitted residents and escort them to their rooms as needed.
  • Participate in the orientation of new residents and family members.
  • Develop and conduct in-service training classes to ensure a well-educated nursing service department.
