Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Convenience Store Associate to join our team at Family Fare. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas, to ensure a positive shopping experience for our guests.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Cash Handling: Process financial transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods, accurately and efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other store team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: One year of prior retail or related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Good verbal communication skills, ability to interact politely and effectively with customers, and basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
