OHM Advisors is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our Field Services Group. As a trusted member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications and construction schedules.
  • Interface daily with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts to discuss project-related matters.
  • Effectively communicate project details to the project team and clients.
  • Provide project-related guidance, coaching, and direction to staff.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of DOT and Local Agency requirements.
  • The ability to obtain the Michigan PE license within six months of employment.
  • Experience in disciplines such as water main, sanitary sewer, road, pathways, and stormwater system development.
  • Working knowledge of established construction practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills, including internet, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
