Job Title: Registered Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse RN will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and efficient care to patients, families, and communities. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • One year of experience as a professional RN, with preference given to those with experience in long-term care or clinical specialties.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • National certification in a clinical specialty.
  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
  • Membership in a professional nursing organization.

    • Accurately documents all aspects of the nursing process using the electronic medical record as applicable.
