Job Title: Registered Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse RN will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and efficient care to patients in our Emergency Department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in unit-based shared governance activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, and apply evidence-based practice to patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Georgia.
  • Associate's Degree, ADN, or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • At least 1 year of RN experience, with demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree.
  • Previous experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
