Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years managing IT initiatives with expertise in Earned Value Management, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and MS Project, alongside prior hands-on technical experience in a software development setting, along with a BS or BA (MS or MBA preferred) and five (5) years of relevant experience; or
  • At least ten (10) years in a specialized IT role without a degree requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate user requirements to ascertain functional and technical specifications.
  • Deliver expert advice in the analysis and design of IT architectures, technology assessments, systems architectures, and strategic planning.
  • Oversee software process management and governance throughout the coding phase of the software development lifecycle.
  • Support developers in navigating challenges related to cultural shifts, software distribution, security, data management, and business process impacts.
  • Establish a structured approach to address emerging technologies, evolving objectives, and requirements.
  • Guide the development team through post-implementation activities, including site promotion, feedback collection, and software distribution.
  • Design solutions to ensure timely updates of extensive databases, ensuring optimal performance across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance business processes and information technologies within client organizations.
  • Architect, implement, and develop data integration solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with APIs and web services.
  • Technology assessment and Analysis of Alternatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies.
  • Experience in the federal government sector.
  • PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications preferred, such as Scrum Master.
