Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Family Therapist to join our team of clinical specialists. As a Family Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, as well as facilitating new Family Orientations and Family Support Groups.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions within the framework of our clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
- Facilitate new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups.
- Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress, group notes, contact notes, and discharge summaries) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enter and save data accurately within our electronic medical record system and other relevant software.
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions.
- Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
- Manage your schedule independently to effectively and efficiently accomplish goals and tasks.
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
- Board registration (LMHCA, AMFT, LICSWA) or Psychologic Associate in the state in which services are provided.
- Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults.
- Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment.
- Willingness to be trained to provide family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
