Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Assistant to join our team at Apex Staffing. As a Loan Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Loan Officers in processing and closing commercial, mortgage, and consumer purpose loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Loan Officers in processing and closing loans, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to loan-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Process and verify documents, including hazard insurance, flood insurance, and financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, databases, and records.
  • Prepare loan renewal and extension requests, as well as loan cancellations and denials.
  • Stay current on government regulations and internal policies related to lending.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial or accounting roles.
  • Real estate knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.
