Electrical Test Engineer Opportunity

Are you an electrical test engineer looking for a challenging role in the aerospace industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical test engineer to join our team at JBL Resources.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced electrical test engineer to develop and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts for high and low voltage flight hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics hardware development, including testing high voltage switching, power regulation, and other advanced electronic commercial or aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing test plans, procedures, and scripts for shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, and vacuum testing on high and low voltage flight hardware
* Conducting verification testing, including power-on, functional, acceptance, and qualification testing, and documenting test results for high and low voltage distribution, power regulation, and conversion hardware
* Supporting the integration of vehicle hardware and analysis tooling necessary to verify the requirements and performance of units under test
* Debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a lab environment
* Supporting integration and test activities, including wiring, hardware installation, and test bench setup
* Participating in design and system reviews to provide feedback on integration and testability throughout all phases of the project

Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* Strong understanding of electronics hardware development, including testing high voltage switching, power regulation, and other advanced electronic commercial or aerospace products
* Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design, including analysis, simulation, test, troubleshooting, and part selection
* Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and general board layout principles
* Experience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting equipment
* Proficient in the use of standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment
* Experience with programming in C++ and/or Python
* NI Labview / TestStand experience
* Must be a U.S. citizen or national or U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
