The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and understanding of complex analytical procedures and systems processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of technical staff to achieve departmental and/or County goals.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee the work of staff performing advanced, specialized work of a professional nature.
  • Ensure completion of tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and job expectations to staff.
  • Provide training to staff on technical skills and procedures.
  • Utilize technical expertise to analyze complex business processes and develop solutions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Materials Management, or other field closely related to the intent of the class.

A minimum of three years full-time paid technical and/or professional experience in the fields of business systems analysis, applications development/implementation, programming, or database administration/analysis is also required.

Sacramento County CA offers a competitive salary range of $124,459 - $155,967 per year, depending on experience. We also offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.

This role requires the ability to work independently with minor supervision and to adapt quickly to changes in policies, procedures, assignments, and work locations.
