Job Description

The Exterior Vehicle Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining the appearance of vehicles by performing various detailing tasks. This includes washing and waxing vehicles, vacuuming interiors, and cleaning upholstery and other surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and dry vehicles using cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Apply wax to vehicle exteriors to protect and preserve the finish.
  • Vacuum interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl and leather surfaces.
  • Clean engine and engine compartment using cleaning equipment and agents.
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials.
  • Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicles.
  • Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED required.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Certification from the International Detailing Association (IDA) optional.
