Therapy Specialist for Student Development

At Soliant, we are dedicated to supporting the growth and development of students in Maine. Our team is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational efforts.
About the PositionWe are looking for a qualified SLP with a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills, as well as a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their diverse communication needs.
- Collaboration and Support: Provide SLP services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication skills.
- Record-Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure effective student support.
- A Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- An Active Maine SLP License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
