RN - Primary Care Clinic (Full Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Primary Care team in Elkton, MD. As a RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients, utilizing the Nursing Process to ensure safe and effective care.
- Participate in a relationship-based care approach, building strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Perform point-of-care tests, EKGs, and other tests as directed by clinicians, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Triage walk-in patients, ensuring appropriate disposition and communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Function as a liaison between patients, physicians, and staff, providing accurate communication and ensuring seamless care transitions.
- Assist with staff education and evaluation of clinical competencies for new and existing employees (MA & LPN).
- Support the site by acting as the liaison for JCAHO, POCT, Tracer monitor for Safe Practice Behavior Monitoring (SPBM) tools & JCAHO Tracers.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine treatments and procedures prescribed by the physician when needed.
- Keep current with policies and procedures, participating in quality improvement activities to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in special projects, assisting with patient care coordination and ensuring seamless care transitions.
- A graduate of a state-approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years' experience as a RN, physician office experience preferred.
