We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Surgical Oncology to lead our team at Generis Tek Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing the operations and activities of the nursing unit, ensuring quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals are met.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage the operations and activities of the nursing unit
- Maintain responsibility for staff performance and departmental responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and act as a liaison with patients, physicians, and employees
- Manage the efficient operation of the department and optimize resource utilization
- Meet JCAHO standards and comply with corporate policy and procedures
- BSN required
- BLS, ACLS, OCN certifications
- 3-5 years of staff-level Med-Surg Oncology RN experience and 2-3 years of leadership experience within Med-Surg Oncology unit
- Recent acute care experience is a must
