Job Title: Cybersecurity Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Network Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a Cybersecurity Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced cybersecurity capabilities and network communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced network communications and cybersecurity capabilities
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to implement cybersecurity solutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of hardware and software applications
  • Develop high-quality technical documentation
  • Backup and restore network device configuration
  • Upgrade network equipment
  • Process Port Open Requests
  • Sustainment of ISA networking architecture
  • Installation work
  • Monitor network status and respond to issues

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional networking experience
  • TCP/IP networking, VPN encryption, firewalls, and SNMP-based network management experience
  • Experience using network monitoring and automation tools
  • Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques
  • Experience implementing firewall base policies using Juniper firewalls
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure networking and connectivity to on-prem environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Infrastructure-related certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-Junos), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JNCIS-SEC)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
