  5. Cost Reduction and Scalability: Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve scalability, and enhance maintenance.
  6. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to understand product behavior and inform data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: 10+ years of software development experience, with 3-5+ years of people management experience.
  2. Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and RESTful APIs.
  3. Programming Skills: Expertise in server-side software development in Golang (or other languages, e.g., Rust, C++, C#, Java, Python).
  4. Database Design: Strong understanding of database design and modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a cross-functional team.
  6. Data-Intensive Applications: Experience with data-intensive applications, big data pipelines, and analytics, having used tools such as Snowflake, DataBricks, Amplitude, and Looker.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Cloud Platforms: Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, ArgoCD.
  2. Database Management: Experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Airflow.
  3. Mobile Development: Experience with Android development, Flutter, Kotlin.
  4. Swift Development: Experience with Swift/SwiftUI.
  5. Remote Team Experience: Experience working with remote teams.
  6. Integration Experience: Experience integrating with Stripe, OneSignal.
  7. Industry Interest: Interest in the fitness industry.
