We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Family Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, manage a high volume of patients, and work closely with physicians to ensure effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and vaccines, including pediatric vaccines
- Schedule appointments and room patients, including vital signs and nursing intake
- Document patient information in the medical record, adhering to standards
- Manage phone calls, coordinate prescription refills, and maintain the integrity of the medical record
- Coordinate care between primary and specialty care, and assist patients with navigating the healthcare system
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assistance with venipuncture and working in all clinical areas of the Family Health Center
- Current and valid New Jersey Practical Nurse license
- Experience administering adult and pediatric vaccines
- One year of experience in OB/GYN procedures preferred
- One year of outpatient pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Up-to-date education credentials in the Vaccine for Children program requirements preferred
