Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Behavioral Health Technician to work one-on-one with children and families with autism in a family-home environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans with the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism
- Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 0-18 years in a daycare or classroom setting
- Minimum 1 year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the past year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
