Job Title: Pediatric Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System - 1184 5th Ave. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our pediatric patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric patients. This includes assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, and promotion of health and prevention of disease.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Relevant clinical competence in pediatric nursing practice.
  • Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships, communicate effectively, and work efficiently to solve problems.
  • Physical and mental health necessary to care for acutely ill patients with a broad variety of diagnoses and behaviors.
