Job Title: Environmental Lab Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Lab Technician to join our team at Aleron. As an Environmental Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing support for Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) for Production and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run standard tests in the Shaker Room and Chamber Room, including Incoming Evaluation, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
  • Learn and understand the basic equipment theory to operate 3-Axis Vibration systems, vibration controllers, and other equipment.
  • Assist in the annual equipment maintenance and calibration tasks for various equipment, including 3-Axis Vibration Systems, MX series adapters, vibration controllers, and accelerometers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience operating temperature chambers, 3-axis vibration systems, mechanical, and RF electrical experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, and with a team.
Additional Requirements:
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds close to the body repetitively.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
