Job Overview

This role involves inspecting incoming components, raw materials, information for use, packages, and labeling to ensure compliance with applicable procedures, policies, and CFRs Quality System Regulation.

The position requires working with supplier quality engineering to develop inspection programs utilizing optical inspection equipment for selected components.

You will also be responsible for preparing daily and monthly IQA reports, performing first article inspections, and conducting functional testing as required by component drawings and/or test instructions.

This is a Monday-to-Thursday position, with working hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work in compliance with applicable procedures, policies, and CFRs Quality System Regulation.
  • Responsible for the preparation of daily and monthly IQA reports.
  • Work with supplier quality engineering to develop inspection programs utilizing optical inspection equipment for selected components.
  • Perform and process first article inspections.
  • Inspect incoming components.
  • Train and assist other junior inspectors in the processing/inspection of components and IQA documentation.
  • Maintain inspection documentation in accordance with SOPs, WIs, and GMP (CFRs).
  • Interface with Engineers on new product development, inspections, and Non-conformance results.
Qualifications and Experience

You should have a High School Diploma, at least 6 years of experience in inspection or a related field, and basic math and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position is $16.55 - $33.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
