Therapeutic Care Coordinator

Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Patient Care: Review and evaluate patient history, physical exams, current vital signs, admission, and current respiratory care orders for each patient.
- Planning & Documentation: Initiate and update respiratory care plans for all patients per department policy and procedure.
- Education & Communication: Provide patient education for therapeutic procedures performed and communicate information regarding patient clinical status to appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent certificate.
- New York State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license with current registration, including credentials received prior to 9/1993, or New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician (RTT) license AND National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) active credentials as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate clinical excellence.
Estimated Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $54,480 and $70,788, depending on experience and qualifications.
