Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical mental health setting? Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in our Bloomfield Hills center.

About the Role

This is a patient-focused position that requires a strong mental health or healthcare background, with a patient-first attitude and a willingness to learn. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be trained and certified to administer breakthrough behavioral health care services, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy, to patients with depression and other mental health disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Administer TMS or esketamine therapy, in accordance with all provider-established clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy during treatments.
  • Review and administer psychiatric rating scales to patients, as applicable.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to patient discomfort during treatment.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and developing trust with patients.
  • Record treatment session notes and documents in EHR, collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed.
  • Schedule patients and conduct patient checkout procedures.
  • Maintain understanding of general insurance and billing procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and at least one year of experience working in a patient care or mental health office setting, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems, preferably AdvancedMD and SalesForce.
  • Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines (highly recommended).
