We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Flagger to join our team at Stripe Rite in the Yakima, WA area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing traffic flow at construction sites by directing vehicles and setting up traffic control devices. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing traffic and maintaining flow around construction sites.
  • Setting up barricades, cones, and signs to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Communicating with team members, law enforcement, and construction workers to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Recording vehicles disobeying traffic signals and reporting to supervisors and law enforcement.
  • Using hand signals and communication devices to effectively manage traffic flow.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in traffic control or construction.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic rules and safety protocols.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in non-verbal communication.
