Your Responsibilities:
The role of the Scan Specialist is an independent position requiring advanced expertise in medical imaging. Working with minimal oversight, this position entails the processing and analysis of CT scans for tailored cranial implants, utilizing specialized software to ensure precise data transfer to international design teams.
- Collaborate with the Customized Implant Design team to evaluate and interpret incoming medical imaging scans (e.g., CT) for patient-specific implant designs.
- Guarantee accurate analysis of scans, facilitating seamless data transfer to global design teams and manufacturing processes.
- Perform detailed work with a strong focus on accuracy, recognizing the critical importance of precision in every task.
- Build trust and collaborative relationships with surgeons, hospital personnel, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and project success.
- Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders, effectively communicating challenges and progress.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical imaging or related fields.
- Degree in medical imaging is preferred.
- Must reside in Pacific Standard Time zone and be able to meet work schedule and overtime requirements.
- Fundamental understanding of anatomy and principles of medical imaging.
- Proven customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
