About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team at US Oncology, Inc. in Austin, Texas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with cancer, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of oncology care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate patient care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Assess patient needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
  • Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
  • Administer medications and blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time, and technique.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of RN experience.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, a generous PTO program, a 401(k) plan with a company match, and a wellness program that rewards healthy lifestyle choices.
