We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the home setting.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $42-$47 per hour. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provide skilled nursing care to patients according to their individual care plans and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.">
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.">
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.">
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and updating the nursing care plan.">
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.">
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent or reduce risk.">
  • Acknowledge personal and professional accountability by adhering to Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.">
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.">
  • Current CPR certification.">
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.">
  • One year of experience required working under current nursing license.">
  • Continuing Education as required by state of California.">

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.">
  • Home health experience.">
