We are seeking dedicated part-time servers to join our team, working from 3:45 PM to 6:45 PM. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a rewarding after-school opportunity. No prior experience is required, but candidates must be at least 16 years old. Join us in a safe and welcoming environment as you serve in our restaurant-style dining areas.

Position Overview:

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining services with a focus on hospitality, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. This position reports to the Dining Services Director or Dining Room Supervisor. The Lead Server will train and mentor new team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Server Responsibilities:

  • Train and support new servers in accordance with Century Park standards.
  • Assist with meal counts and ticket management.

Server Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup of the dining room alongside fellow servers.
  • Support dishwashing tasks as needed.
  • Participate in pre-meal menu review meetings.
  • Perform duties at assigned stations (e.g., beverages, salad bar).
  • Complete assigned cleaning and preparation tasks efficiently.
  • Greet residents and visitors warmly.
  • Assist residents with meal selections.
  • Ensure timely beverage refills.
  • Serve meals using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Reset tables as required during service.
  • Manage the removal of dishes and linens to designated areas.
  • Prepare dining areas for subsequent meals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dining room.
  • Prepare for the next meal by cleaning tables and ensuring all areas are ready.
