Your Role
As a Senior Banking Specialist, you will extend beyond routine banking operations and play a crucial role in cultivating and sustaining client relationships. You will be tasked with the proficient management of new consumer and intricate business accounts, ensuring a smooth and advantageous banking experience. Your ability to actively cross-sell and advocate for the Bank's offerings will be essential in meeting sales objectives and promoting business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Open and oversee both consumer and complex business accounts, providing tailored financial solutions.
- Sales Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and promoting the bank's extensive range of products and services to both new and existing clients.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service, fostering and enhancing client relationships to improve customer loyalty.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations and policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act, while exercising sound judgment in managing confidential information.
- Leadership Assistance: Provide supervisory support, manage significant transactions, and offer overrides as needed, demonstrating a high level of accountability and leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of three years in a banking teller role is required, with advanced experience in managing consumer and complex business accounts.
- Leadership Skills: Previous supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage tasks effectively.
- Customer Relations: Strong interpersonal skills, with at least three years of experience in fostering positive interactions and resolving customer inquiries efficiently.
- Banking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations, product offerings, and account management strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and banking software is essential.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance, business, or related fields is a plus.
