About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist II to join our General Industry team in Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing key processes that serve clients, including complex clients, and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
  • Assist Brokers as necessary, particularly on Commercial Risk business.
  • Perform submission assembly/creation where assigned, facilitating the timely and accurate flow of information between clients and account team members.
  • Handle client open items lists and respond to client ad-hoc requests.
  • Gather and analyze data, drafting assigned elements of stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
  • Actively support and monitor the renewal process, drafting quote comparisons and following up for binders, policies, and endorsements.
  • Coordinate activities with Aon Client Services (ACS) to ensure that key processes assigned are performed efficiently and quality of client deliverables.
  • Primary collaborator with Premium Accounting on client billing matters.
  • Receive and handle routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
  • Serve as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, Worker's Compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
  • Monitor and follow-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables, and collections, addressing and resolving problems.
  • May provide guidance and mentoring to a less senior account specialist, delegating work to support staff and ACS where applicable.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of previous commercial insurance experience preferred.
  • Property & Casualty brokers license preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date.
