Position Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer at Fusion HCR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the organization. You will oversee the financial operations of the holding company, which encompasses a diverse range of operating entities with varying complexities, as well as manage investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establishing clear objectives and strategic plans for the finance department.
  2. Working closely with the executive leadership team to ensure financial strategies are in sync with broader business goals.
  3. Supervising the creation of precise and timely financial statements.
  4. Evaluating the financial status of the organization and pinpointing opportunities for enhancement.
  5. Partnering with the CEO and COO to develop annual budgets and long-term financial projections.
  6. Presenting financial data to the board, current and prospective shareholders, and senior management.
  7. Maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  8. Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
  9. Investigating and applying innovative financial technologies to optimize performance and decision-making.
  10. Managing the treasury functions of the organization.
  11. Identifying, evaluating, and addressing financial risks that may impact the organization.
  12. Building and nurturing strong partnerships with accounting teams across business units, as well as with company presidents and shareholders.
  13. Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
  14. Overseeing the timely preparation and submission of tax returns.
  15. Advising on changes in regulations that could affect financial operations.
  16. Executing other related responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting and management.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a "Big Four" accounting firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting, consolidations, and investment practices.
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a CPA designation.
