Key Responsibilities of the Plastic Extrusion Operator:

  • Configure and run extrusion machinery in accordance with established protocols
  • Oversee the extrusion process to ensure product integrity and compliance with specifications
  • Modify machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
  • Achieve an 80% efficiency rate by maximizing uptime and minimizing defects
  • Diagnose and resolve any issues with extrusion equipment
  • Enhance productivity by responding swiftly to resource requirements
  • Adhere to safety regulations and keep the workspace organized
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing targets

Qualifications for the Plastic Extrusion Operator:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Plastic Extrusion Operation
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience with plastic extrusion machinery is preferred
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
