About the Role
TotalMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Long Term Care setting. As a Registered Nurse with TotalMed, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop effective plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged in the care process.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
