Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive estimates for commercial plumbing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
  • Engage with clients, project managers, and general contractors to gather project details, clarify expectations, and provide regular updates.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess existing conditions, project feasibility, and any potential challenges.
  • Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring cost competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain estimation databases, keeping updated records of material prices, labor rates, and historical cost data.
  • Prepare formal bids and proposals for clients, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
  • Work closely with project management and construction teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution plans.
Requirements:
  • Current Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing services
  • At least 3 years of estimating experience in commercial plumbing
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
